Iraqi security forces arrested an ISIS terrorist near the Dujail district of Salah al-Din Governorate.

"A force of the Samarra Operations Command was able, during a qualitative operation, to arrest a terrorist organization (ISIS) near the Dujail district who was previously working for the execution committee official in the aforementioned organization," a statement issued by the security media cell received a copy of Alsumaria News today.

The statement added, "This operation comes after setting up a tight ambush on the main road near the Dujail district," noting that all legal measures have been taken against him.

The Iraqi forces arrested an ISIS terrorist last night in the city of Mosul in northern Iraq.

To that, the Iraqi Ministry of Defense announced the destruction of three dens and two tunnels belonging to the terrorist organization ISIS with a military operation between the provinces of Diyala and Salahuddin.

The ministry said in a statement, “A unit of the Iraqi army, with the participation of the supportive formations of the police and the popular crowd, carried out a broad military operation within the Salahuddin Operations Command from 4 main axes to track ISIS terrorist cells in the Matbija (Hawi al-Azim) area and the villages bordering the border between Diyala, Salah al-Din and Samarra.” .

The statement added, "The operation resulted in the destruction of 3 dens, two tunnels and a boat," noting that the process that is still going on comes to end any presence of these cells, destroy their dens, and secure the administrative boundaries between the two governorates.
