Medical President accuses Merkel of failure and demands protective masks for everyone

The medical president Montgomery also demands FFP2 protective masks for citizens. He is also skeptical of makeshift masks.

Corona: Montgomery is critical of makeshift mouth and nose protection

Montgomery accused the German government of Chancellor Angela Merkel of failing on German radio on Monday for failing to procure such masks early enough for everyone. 

However, the FFP2 masks are the solution that politicians must now deliver. Montgomery expressed skepticism about makeshift mouth-nose protection, as has been mandatory since Monday in almost all federal states for shopping and public transport. These would not provide adequate protection against infection with the Sars-CoV-2 coronavirus .

Corona virus would not be prevented by scarf

A scarf or cloth keep viruses like the coronavirus not from the doctors President argued. Rather, they could even accumulate in it if used improperly.
