That of journalist and writer Laurence Benaïm, in collaboration with Maison Tajan, for a charity sale in favor of Ehpad, was more than meritorious. And a tour de force to be organized in record time, to bring together the prizes donated by each other!

This online sale brought in 225,000 euros. “The totality of the sums collected will allow us to continue our action in favor of EHPAD staff most in difficulty: purchase of protective equipment, transport, childcare, provision of meals, improvement of spaces dedicated to staff In this period of a crisis so particular, this mobilization of the world of arts and culture in favor of the staff of Ehpad is very comforting ", greets doctor Olivier de La Doucette, president of the Alzheimer Research Foundation, without whom this sale could not have had effective action.

The mobilization was up to expectations with 476 bidders including 93 firm buyers, 824 auctions taken on the site, 155 lots acquired (85% of them) from eight countries: from France to Belgium, passing by the United States, Great Britain, Israel, Italy, Switzerland and Mexico.

With a very wide range, buyers found their account: 16,500 euros for the Java charcoal , specially produced by Adel Abdessemed, 4,200 euros for the screenprint of Chu Teh Chun (donation from the Foundation), 4,200 euros for the watercolor, ink and collage by Marcella Barcelo (gift from Galerie Anne de Villepoix). The artist's proof of Bishop in ceramic enameled copper by India Mahdavi was sold for 2000 euros. The Moon lamp by Mattia Bonetti and Elisabeth Garouste, offered by the gallery E n attendant les Barbares, flew to 4,200 euros, the XL dresser by Jérôme Faillant Dumas (Love Éditions) was sold for 8,000 euros.

The intangible experiences were also a great success: those of Guillaume Néry and his baptism of apnea (5,500 euros) or Stéphane Bern who will organize a private visit to the Palace of Versailles (3,200 euros). The same goes for the private rehearsal of violinist Renaud Capuçon (3,900 euros), the writing workshop on the memory of Leila Slimani (2,000 euros) or the day of shooting with Rachida Brakni (1,500 euros).

All the values ​​dear to the French have won over.
