Strauss Ice Cream's long-established ice cream brand over 35 years old expands • cake-shaped tortoise and hot burger • new on the shelf

On the occasion of Israel's 72nd Independence Day, food companies launched special holiday products. Although this year we will be closing during the holiday, however there are quite a few products that can comfort us while staying at home. As always, our experimenters checked which products were worth your calories and which ones were not.



Product: New Strauss ice cream cones

What's new: Unilever Strauss ice cream opens the ice cream season with a number of innovations, including a vegan and kosher magnum developed in Israel. In addition, Temkor, the oldest Strauss ice cream brand produced over 35 years, is expanding and offering a new product to children called Scrubs, a mini Temporem consisting of Fiber and Banana Strawberry Ice Cream with no red markings. Magnum Double has joined Magnum Double Almond Honey, and a salted Caramel Magnum will be launched.



Taste test: The magnum caramel from a very tasty and balanced salt, the crunchy coating and a creamy contrast. At the same time, the caramel is too delicate and the saltiness is hardly noticeable and does not have a new line or taste that we have not yet known. Magnum Double Almond Honey is very tasty. However, the chocolate flavor is a bit dominant. Regarding the casts, the reactions did not praise the new product: "It feels like a four-year-old took two biscuits and stuck in the necessarily delicious ice cream.

Product: Elite Strauss Brownie Cake

What's new: Elite is expanding the series of cakes with the company's familiar snack flavors and launching a limited edition white brownie cake. It is a tortoise brownie, a chocolate cake with almond shreds

Taste test: Opinions were divided. Sports enthusiasts will love the product, just as you are excited about any new product that has the familiar taste of the product.

The product: a series on the Zoglobek pan

What's new: Especially now that everyone is home, Zugelowak is launching a new home-made burger series on Independence Day. The new series was specially developed for this period, which also includes the traditional BBQ of Independence Day in the Nahlif Park barbecue at home.

Taste test: The entrecote burger is a rich blend of meat that leaves a desire for the taste of more. The hamburger entrecote with berries is also delicious, the mushrooms add a rich flavor to the regular entrecote burger. As for the entrecote burger in Spanish seasoning, the Spanish aroma is definitely noticeable in the dish, which can be considered a little too spicy for some people.

The product: vegan burgers and falafel

What's new: This year, Tivol offers vegetarian and vegan solutions for eating on fire with a bun or pita. In the hamburger section, Tivol is returning the limited edition burger in honor of Independence Day. In addition, Vegan offers vegan falafel from vegetables and legumes, vegetables and legumes based on vegetables and legumes with over 50% hummus, zucchini and carrots. Another product is vegan shawarma from the cooking series.

Taste test: The lovers of the genre will love the hamburger, its sharp, noticeable and no strange aftertaste. The size of the cutlet is fair and it is a satisfying and tasty food. The vegan shawarma in a new recipe is great for vegans, more and more without grills at home. However, we would not rush to make statements that the products are similar or reminiscent of Shawarma too much, it is a delicious meat substitute.

As for the falafel, we have to admit that we did not expect much from a frying, freezing product and now have to go through another heating or frying. Somehow, despite all the heating that was supposed to dry, the product remained delicious.

Product: Nutmeg of Golan Heights winery

What's New: In honor of Independence Day, the Golan Heights winery launches a new vintage to Mount Hermon Muscato and a festive design in shades of blue and white in the spirit of the country's birthday celebrations. The nutmeg is a young wine with sweet flavors and a delicate sparkling wine that suits the spring season at its doorstep, and is made from cannabis musk grapes grown in the wineries located in the Golan Heights. 

Taste test: The wine is delicate and sweet, we really liked the festive design.

The product: Mini crunches in four flavors of the Vineyard Company

What's new: The Kerem Teva company launches a series of crunchy varieties in four different flavors: potatoes with beets, chickpeas, lentils and jasmine. The crunchies do not contain trans fat, are cholesterol free, are not genetically modified and are not fried.

Taste test: Very tasty, an excellent solution for the weight savers.
