Based on what was decided by the Council of Ministers today, the Ministry of Education issued a decree setting the 21st of next June as the date for conducting basic and secondary education exams exams for one exam cycle.
The Ministry’s decision, which SANA received a copy of today, included the cancellation of the supplementary course in the event that no changes related to Corona Virus warrant the amendment of the exam date.
The Ministry indicated that the optional questions for students will be increased in each exam material and the time period separated between one subject and the other is marked. The exams for the two certificates are limited to the lessons that students received from the beginning of the academic year until the start of the suspension of working hours on the fourteenth of last March.
The Ministry indicated that the criteria set for examinations will be approved by forming a central committee in each governorate under the supervision of governors and the membership of education and health directors and a representative of the police leadership to secure full health protection methods in a manner that preserves the health of our student children and ensures spatial distance between them by increasing the number of exam centers All test centers are sterilized before any material is presented periodically.
The Ministry confirmed that an ambulance and a medical staff will be present in the center of each area during the examination process to deal with any emergency cases, if any.
