Due to "unruly behavior" by the royal family, an ultra-Orthodox high school decided to conceal historical events • Thus, a photo of Queen Elizabeth I dancing with Robert Dudley was censored

An ultra-Orthodox high school for girls in London compiled history books to conceal from students what he perceived to be a modest behavior by British royalty. At a hearing at the Middle Elementary Girls' High School, a government superintendent claimed that entire chapter pages in the textbook were pasted to each other.
"It's not a question of an image or a picture, it's a whole chunk of history," Amanda Spielman, chief inspector of the Department of Education's Office of Education, testified before a parliamentary committee on Monday, the newspaper Joish Chronicle reported.
So what is perceived as inappropriate by school principals? The school deleted a picture of Queen Elizabeth I dancing with Robert Dudley, who was one of her suitors. He also decided to skip a chapter in King Henry VIII's complicated marriage, as well as charges of adultery against Anne Boleyn.

The school's rating, which receives funding from the state, was downgraded two years ago to an ineligible grade due to censorship imposed by the school on textbooks. According to the report, the students were forbidden to visit the Tate Modern Gallery because the works on display, including works by Pablo Picasso and Henry Matisse, are considered too blatant. The school also edited excerpts from Sherlock Holmes books by author Arthur Conan Doyle. The school's founding principal, Rabbi Abraham Pinter, died earlier this month after suffering from the Corona virus.
