Suspected terrorist attack near Paris: Counter-terrorism headquarters in French government said on Tuesday that a 29-year-old French citizen arrested on suspicion of hitting his car with two police officers in the Columbur suburb yesterday - has sworn allegiance to the Islamic State, Reuters reports. The cops were hospitalized in serious condition.
The headquarters also said that in the vehicle of the suspect, who is currently in custody, a knife and a letter declaring allegiance to the Islamic State were found.
According to the RT Network, Coulomb Mayor Nicole Guetta told reporters after the incident: "I've never seen anything like it. It's horrifying."
Later in the report, it was stated in media outlets in France that the suspect said after his arrest that he had watched a video about Palestine and wanted to attack police. The suspect was also reported to have confessed to police for ISIS.
