The infection of the newly created Corona virus in Russia exceeded 99 thousand cases after the Russian Anti-Corona Operations Center announced the registration of 5,841 new cases, bringing the total number of cases to 99,399.
The Center also recorded 108 new deaths from the virus in the highest daily death toll since the beginning of the casualty registration, bringing the total number to 972, while the number of people recovering from the disease reached 10286 people.
In East Asia, the Philippine Ministry of Health announced that the number of people infected with the virus has exceeded 8,000, with 254 new infections recorded, bringing the number of cases to 8212 in addition to 28 new deaths, bringing the number of deaths to 558.
For its part, New Zealand announced that two new cases of coronavirus were registered during the past 24 hours, with the total number of infections in the country reaching 1474, while the number of victims of the disease remained at 19 deaths.
New Zealand moved from the fourth warning level, which is the highest to the third level yesterday, and will remain for at least two weeks at this level before conducting another review and deciding on the level of the warning on May 11.
Arab: The Omani Ministry of Health announced 143 new infections, bringing the total number to 2274, while the Tunisian Ministry of Health confirmed the registration of one death from the virus, bringing the total to 40 and recording 80 new cases, raising the total to 975.
