Mumbai - Irrfan Khan is dead. The actor played roles in Bollywood and Hollywood films such as " Slumdog Millionaire " and " Life of Pi - Shipwreck with Tiger ". Now Irrfan Khan has died at the age of 53. He died of complications from a colon infection, a spokesman for the Mumbai hospital said where the actor had been taken.
Irrfan Khan was considered one of the most popular actors in India and was known to show a wide range of emotions with a twitch of his eyebrows or an eye movement. He will leave a big gap, Bollywood-sized Amitabh Bachchan wrote on Twitter.

In " Slumdog Millionaire " Irrfan Khan played a pragmatic policeman, in " Life of Pi: Shipwreck with Tiger " the actor embodied the adult Piscine "Pi" Molitor Patel. Both films were hit films and made Khan one of the most famous and popular actors in the world.

Slumdog Millionaire actor Irrfan Khan dies
Khan had already been diagnosed with cancer in 2018 and was treated longer in London. But he returned to work last year.
The shock last week: Irrfan Khan was hospitalized with an intestinal infection. There, Khan "fought to the end and inspired everyone around him," said a spokesman for the clinic. Khan leaves behind a wife and two children.
