Seven members leave the Irschenberg municipal council for the new term of office. The last meeting was now up for her.
Mayor Klaus Meixner (CSU) used the last meeting of the previous committee, which took place again on Monday evening due to the corona restrictions in the gym, to say goodbye to the departing colleagues.
At the age of 18, the longest was Franz Gasteiger (Free Voter Niklasreuth), who has served as Second Mayor since 2019. His parliamentary colleague Klaus Kirchberger was there for just as long. The third outgoing parliamentary group member Christine Gasteiger is 14 years old. Martin Eberhard (FDP / Active Citizens) leaves after ten years and was absent from his last meeting.
The former Third Mayor Hans Nirschl (Free Voter Irschenberg) brought it to a period, ie six years. The last two retirees, Reiner Hartmann and Josef Kröll (both CSU), only moved up last year: Hartmann for Meixner after his election as mayor, Kröll after the death of Helmut Niggl. Meixner thanked everyone with certificate and present. "The togetherness worked out," he said. "It was a nice time."
