The French Ministry of Health announced that the number of deaths from the Corona virus in the country increased 427 cases to 24087 today while the number of patients being treated in hospitals and in high-care units continued to decrease.
The "AP" quoted the ministry as saying in a statement that the death toll had increased by 1.8 percent compared to yesterday at a slightly higher rate of increase than it had been during the previous twenty-four hours.
The ministry indicated that the number of people treated in hospitals from Covid 19 fell to 26,834 cases from 27,484 yesterday, while the number of patients in intensive care units decreased from 4,387 to 4207, where these numbers have been declining for more than two weeks.
The General Directorate of Health in France announced yesterday that the number of confirmed infections with the new Corona virus that have been registered in the country since the start of the pandemic of Covid 19 in March approached 130 thousand.
