The spokesman of the Yemeni Armed Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Sari, announced today the end of the operation "so it was possible for them" and cleared the remaining 95% of Al-Jawf Governorate.
Al-Masirah Net website quoted Sari as saying in a statement that the last stage of the "so it was possible for them" process included clearing the camp of building blocks, seals, and slippers, and the surrounding areas in Al-Marzaiq and Al-Muhashima in Al-Jouf, indicating that the forces of aggression subsequently fell to approximately 1,200 dead.
He added that the newly liberated area reached 3500 square kilometers, i.e. the entire Al-Hazm desert, in addition to the areas of Khub and Al-Sha`f, indicating that the Al-Jawf Desert formed the most important den of the so-called “Al-Qaeda” and “ISIS” terrorists supported by the United States and Saudi Arabia.
Surey indicated that the importance of the camp of building blocks is that he is the last stronghold of mercenaries in Al-Jouf, which is a key to Marib Governorate, revealing a major escalation of the forces of aggression in Marib during the last period, but the heroes of the army and the committees are confronting them, indicating that there are strategic options that will make the enemy regret its escalation.
Today, the Saudi aggression launched 7 raids on the Majzar district in the Ma'rib Governorate, 4 raids on Al-Hazm Directorate and a raid on Al-Muhashima in the Khub district, wounding three Yemeni women.
