The death toll from the Corona virus in Britain rose to 26,771 deaths, after 674 new cases were recorded during the past 24 hours, while France recorded 289 new deaths.
Reuters quoted the British Ministry of Health as saying that the country recorded a total of 171253 confirmed cases of the new virus, an increase of 6032 cases from the previous day.
In France, the French Director General of Health, Professor Jerome Salomon, announced that the Corona virus has caused the death of 289 people in the country during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number to 24,376 deaths since last March.
Salomon said that the number of patients in resuscitation services decreased again by 188 patients compared to the previous day, bringing the total to 4,019 beds, stressing that nearly 50,000 patients, including 49,476, had left the hospital since the beginning of the epidemic.
France reached the height of the epidemic on April 9 with 7200 patients in intensive care, and to this day there are still 26,283 patients infected with Covid 19 in hospitals.
