(CNN Spanish) -  In his usual morning conference, the President of Mexico Andrés Manuel López Obrador assured that there are sufficient beds available in the capital hospitals dedicated to the care of patients with covid-19, but he called on the population not to go to those where there is greater demand.

"We are working to be precise about the places, the beds we have, not to waste too much time on transfers, especially waiting in hospitals where there is already saturation, especially in intensive care. This is extremely important to save lives, ”the president reported after several media outlets published that there is saturation in many of the hospitals in the capital that serve patients with covid-19.

"The main thing to continue taming the pandemic is the behavior of citizens. That is why we are getting ahead despite the regrets, due to the behavior of the people, ”said López Obrador, who assured that in other parts of the country there is no delicate situation.
