The Italian Civil Protection Agency announced that the number of corona virus deaths reached 269 today, in retreating from yesterday's count of 285 deaths.
The agency pointed out that the total number of deaths since the emergence of the virus in Italy on February 21 reached 28236 people, which is the second highest number of deaths in the world after the United States, noting that the number of new infections increased by 1965 compared to 1872 the previous day.
The number of confirmed cases, including dead and recovered, reached 207,428,000, which is the third highest toll in the world after the United States and Spain.
