If you categorize the different types of food, "Jewish food" is quite near me, unlike Italian, for example, which stars first. You can count on one hand, partially cut off, what Jewish foods would be happy to eat - and that usually comes down to carpal, charcuterie and matte brie with jam. Compote, poor excuse for dessert, and Giltte Fish on its gray color - can stay out.

When I ordered from the restaurant "Sander - Food House" delivery Friday, because when Corona is much more convenient to order food than to go buy it, and let's face it - even when there is no Corona, I did not expect too much. The pictures on the site would look a bit like Bar Mitzvah food from the Eighties, and considering the type of food in question, that was pretty understandable as well. "Chef Zamy Schreiber, a third-generation restaurant founder, continues the tradition and prepares daily handmade Eastern European Jewish classics," the website says. "Dark, rich and velvety, real ginger, chopped liver and not minced, and egg salad has a slight hint of grandma's leftover." At this point, the mucus arrived, and although Grandma preferred to make apple cakes over leftover, I ordered a delivery.

In the tray divided into three came chicken patties and fried beef patties, which were great - the beef patties were also delicious cold. Next to them were peas and beans additions, cooked carrots and steamed cabbage - and I was sorry I didn't order a separate steamed cabbage pile for myself, as it was so good, slightly sugary and soaked in reddish sauce as much as it could.

The carpalach, originally a violent food, came in a box that was overloaded with the sauce and so it became slightly softened, but the velvety and dark bread did prove to be true in advertising. As someone who didn't like Hamin (okay. Cholent) especially, as soon as I sat down on the box (yes. I didn't wait to put it in the plate) I didn't leave it - it was full of surprises and wonderful guesses; Rich beef, spicy potato, cake-filled kugel and full of flavors and of course beans that burst in your mouth. If there is heaven - serve a free name, and probably this is hot.

Five salads came in small boxes: eggplant, which was excellent and packed with flavors, liver and egg, which although I was not born in Poland I remember yearning, an egg salad that I was probably less able to connect with, an excellent grinding and bitter pepper and roasted pepper salad.

From the Guilte Fish I arrived, I had to taste myself for the article, and after a few minutes I found myself wiping a sauce out of my mouth when the plate was empty and I was spooning words in Polish. Alongside the fish came horseradish and another box of pickles and delicious vegetables in pickle - because if you are already sitting in the dark, at least it will be a little sour in the heart.
