There was a partially charged mood at the Corona demos on Saturday in Munich. The police had to intervene.
- On Saturday there were demonstrations against the corona protective measures in several places in downtown Munich.
- The demonstrators feel restricted in their freedom.
- Protective provisions such as wearing masks were sometimes ignored.
Munich - Demonstrations against the exit restrictions and other corona measures by the Bavarian government took place in Munich's old town on Saturday . The alliance called for “Not without us - a communication center for democratic resistance”. At the rallies, interferences with fundamental rights were complained about and, among other things, stickers with the words "Health dictatorship" distributed.
Munich: The Corona demonstrators chant "Basic Law" - but react hostile to the police
On the Marienplatz , the Max-Joseph-Platz , on routes to and at the Odeon Square were admitted each between 30 to 50 participants for the demonstrations. This Twitter video shows how the demonstrators chant "Basic Law". In another: "We are here, we are loud because we are stolen from freedom!"

At least on a photo of the Twitter page "Endstation Rechts", which was taken in front of the State Opera, there are far more than 50 participants. In addition, most of them do not wear protective masks and keep little or no distance between them . The site even speaks of a "corona party". The head of the meeting had requested more distance in an announcement. The Twitter page also writes: "Announcements @PolizeiMuenchen were sometimes hostile."

A similar demo picture emerged at Marienplatz, as this video also underlines. The police announcement reaps a loud whistle concert. The police had repeatedly used loudspeakers to protest the demonstrators to leave Marienplatz. The participants complied with this only slowly.
