(CNN Spanish) - An earthquake of magnitude 5.5 shook the island of Puerto Rico on Saturday at 7:13 am (local time), according to reports from the United States Geological Survey (USGS).

The seismic focus was located 4.3 kilometers deep and the epicenter was located 11.9 kilometers southeast of Tallaboa and 14.2 kilometers northeast of Ponce, Puerto Rico.

As reported by the USGS after this earthquake, there was a magnitude 4.9 aftershock with an epicenter 5 kilometers south-east of Tallaboa at 7:19 am and another magnitude 4.6 at 7:32 am
