This year, the constituent sessions will also be dominated by the corona virus: among other things, attention will be paid to a safe distance and the audience spaces are limited.

Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen - Corona virus or not: The constituent council meetings - the first meeting of the newly elected body - must take place by mid-May. But under what conditions? Our newspaper asked the municipalities in the Nordland district.

Königsdorf: restrict yourself to the most important

The meeting room in Königsdorfer Rathaus is large enough to ensure a safety distance of 1.50 meters for everyone present, emphasizes managing director Andreas Baumann. At the meeting on May 5, however, the most important things would be limited. "The council only works on essential points of the day, everything else is postponed to the next meeting," says Baumann.

Spectator spaces limited

Space for spectators is limited that evening. "Because of the safety distance, there is room for about 15 to 20 people, then it is over," said Baumann. The adoption of the old councils and the mayor will probably be "postponed for a few months". Baumann: "A dignified farewell is currently not possible under the strict conditions."

Indication of the address

A confirmation that you do not suffer from cold symptoms and the indication of the address, in the event of a trace: This is what Icking's Mayor Margit Menrad is currently demanding from all those present at the meetings. "I assume that my successor Verena Reithmann will regulate this in a similar way," says Menrad.

In the Isartalgemeinde, the constituent meeting takes place on May 4th in the town hall. Because of the safety distance, the number of visitors is limited to a maximum of 15 people. At the last meeting under Mayor Margit Menrad, the town councilors thanked - and gave the town hall manager a special gift.

Dietramszell: Council moves to the gym

The Council will move to the gymnasium for its meeting on May 14, so that a sufficient distance can also be maintained in Dietramszell. "There is enough space there to set the tables apart enough," explains Mayor Leni Gröbmaier. The regulation also applies to spectators.

"That is why we can only let in as many people as can enter the hall with a safe distance," emphasizes the town hall manager. The decision to wear a face mask at the event is up to you. Gröbmaier: “But I can well imagine that a crowd forms in the first session, for example when you walk in. Masks would therefore certainly make sense. "

"Masks would certainly make sense"

In Eurasburg the constituent council meeting will also be moved to the gymnasium on May 5th. "The tables are set up in a large circle and there are lots of individual seats with enough space," says Günther Eidenschink, the manager of the town hall. "We just have to see how many we bring in with the audience."

Münsing: meeting in the community hall

The Münsinger should also protect the coronavirus from sufficient space between the seats in the panel and among the visitors. “Fortunately, we are on the safe side in the community hall. We have enough space there, ”says Mayor Michael Grasl.

The meeting will take place on May 5 in the lake community. A joint farewell dinner with the old councilors will be postponed for the time being, according to the town hall chief. Grasl: "We will also try to make up the planned farewell trip next year."

Egling: Committee meets in the Thanningen club home

The situation in Egling is similar: Instead of in the town hall, the committee meets there on May 5 at the Thanninger club home. Maintaining the safety distance is the top priority here too. “The number of citizens is therefore limited. If you don't get a seat, you have to leave the hall, ”announced Mayor Hubert Oberhauser. The town hall chief already passed the old councilors at the last meeting of the current parliamentary term.
