Today, Italy recorded 174 new deaths from the newly created Corona virus, the lowest since March 10.
The news agency Agence France-Presse quoted Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte as saying that the quarantine measures imposed by the Italian authorities last March and that were applied before in the north of the country are the only way to contain the epidemic.
The virus has so far killed about 29,000 people in Italy, according to official figures.
The health authorities in the Netherlands announced that the number of confirmed cases of the virus rose 335 cases to 40,571, indicating also the registration of 69 new deaths, bringing the total to 5056.

In Britain, the number of deaths from the virus increased to 28,446, an increase of 315 cases, according to figures announced today, which include deaths in hospitals and other places such as nursing homes.
The number of deaths due to the Corona virus in Turkey during the past 24 hours increased by 61 cases, bringing the total to 3397, while the total number of infections increased by 1670, bringing the total to 126045.
Saudi Arabia recorded a sharp and unprecedented increase in confirmed infections of the Corona virus during the past 24 hours by 1552 cases, bringing the total number of infected to 27,011 people.
