Corona photo from Munich tram leaves speechless: is that despair or pure provocation?

A picture has now been taken in Munich that captures the whole Corona madness of these days. Who would have thought such a picture possible weeks ago?

  • Masks are also mandatory in the Corona crisis * in local public transport in Munich.
  • A curious photo on Instagram now shows what this regulation can lead to.
  • The question is: what do you do when you don't have a face mask on hand?

Munich - In Bavaria, a mask is mandatory for local public transport . Only those who cover their nose and mouth are allowed to get on the bus and train. The aim is to further limit the spread of the coronavirus . However, it is questionable how this should work with full S-Bahn trains (as in this case) *. In addition, resistance * is forming in Munich * against the government's strict corona protection measures

Nevertheless, the passengers must of course adhere to the mask regulation. But what to do if you don't have a mask - or at least a scarf - with you? A passenger on a Munich tram apparently had this problem

Munich: Tram passenger on the go without a corona protective mask or scarf

A corresponding photo was published on the Instagram page * "Masks of Corona" on Saturday evening. Someone took pictures of a Munich tram and photographed a very strange passenger. Where and when the photo was taken unfortunately remains a mystery. Only “Meanwhile in Munich”, ie “meanwhile in Munich”, is shown below in the caption. The look of the tram also matches the means of transport in the Isar metropolis. Even if the background of the photo cannot be fully verified: it is a blast!

You can see the woman sitting in the tram with a bag over her head . Certainly a possible alternative to conventional face brands - but also a sensible one? "Hopefully she at least cut holes for her eyes," jokes an Instagram subscriber to the page in the comments. And indeed: Without such holes, it could quickly lead to a painful accident. At least, without holes, the oxygen supply under the bag should be restricted even more. The bag seems rather unsuitable for long tram journeys.

In Munich tram: bag over your head as corona protection?

But it may not be an act of despair at all, but a deliberate provocation. Did the person with this headgear consciously want to stand out and draw attention to the absurdity of the new corona reality in spring 2020?

That remains speculative. On the other hand, it is clear that this snapshot causes amusement on the net. Hundreds have already given the photo an Instagram * heart. So it is really popular on the Internet and could go viral. Just like another curious photo from Munich public transport. It recently appeared on yodel - here a passenger in the subway even wore a Leberkäs bread roll on his face!
