Néstor Luis Ibars (64) returned to prison. The Judge of Criminal Execution No. 1 of Bahía Blanca, Claudio Orlando Brun, suspended the home prison that he had been granted on April 7, for being a person at risk for contracting the coronavirus. He was serving a sentence of 7 years in prison in the Penal Unit 19 of Saavedra and now he was lodged in the UP 4 of Bahia.

Ibars was sentenced on November 12, 2015 to 7 years in prison for the abuse of a young woman with a mature delay . The girl lived in a shelter home in Bahía Blanca and on the weekends her brother would look for her to take her home and to a house in Punta Alta, where she was sexually assaulted.
Ibars was living in this last address. The abuses took place there and in another house between February and August 2008.
