The drinking water establishment in Lattakia completes maintenance work on the second traction line and restores pumping to the city's neighborhoods

Maintenance workshops at the Lattakia Water Corporation have completed the repair work of the holidays on the second traction line this afternoon to begin pumping drinking water directly to the city of Lattakia.

The Director General of the Water Corporation commissioned Eng. Mudher Mansoura, in a statement to a Sana correspondent, that the water will gradually return to the draft line, expecting the water to reach all of the districts of Lattakia city after midnight tonight.

Mansoura pointed out to the use of an alternative traction line to pump water to the city after it was sterilized, to conduct water tests and to ensure that it complies with the Syrian standard for drinking water.

The Foundation stopped pumping water from the city this morning as a result of emergency maintenance work on the line in the Al-Barajan area of ​​Jableh countryside, and was affected by the cutting off of water in most neighborhoods of Lattakia city and part of the countryside of Jableh region.
