The Union Cycliste Internationalea, this Tuesday, announced the dates of its new calendar after a number of cycling events have been postponed. Concerning the UCI World Tour events of ASO, the recovery will be carried out with the Critérium du Dauphiné from 12 to 16 August, in a format reduced to five days against eight usually, which will be of paramount importance in the necessary preparation of the riders in view the Tour de France from August 29 to September 20 (the Giro being scheduled from October 3 to 25, the Vuelta from October 20 to November 8). The start of this real mountain concentrate will be given from Clermont-Ferrand and the finish will be judged in Megève as initially planned. Used in spring, the Ardennes classics will take place in autumn with the Flèche Wallonne on September 30 and Liège-Bastogne-Liège on October 4. For Paris-Roubaix, the date has been set for October 25 (Milano-San Remo to be held on August 8 and the Tour of Lombardy on October 31).
