The US Department of Defense announced that one of its soldiers was killed in a "non-combat" accident in the Iraqi city of Erbil.
Russia today quoted the ministry as saying in a statement today that "the soldier was killed in a non-combat accident and more information will be published about him at a later time," noting that it has opened an investigation into the accident.
Since August 2014, the United States has been leading an international coalition that claims to fight the terrorist organization "ISIS" in Syria and Iraq, has not achieved any results on the ground, but rather contributed to the expansion of the said organization.
