Starting tomorrow: The Nature and Parks Authority opens about 20 national parks and nature reserves across the country from north to south to the public, and we can finally enjoy the flowering spring and nature after a rainy winter.

However, this is a special format: with the aim of avoiding unforeseen travelers' loads, access to the sites will only be possible by booking a place - even today, through the opportunity system. Payment will be made in advance through a registration system set up specifically on the Authority's website.

Among the sites to be opened are the national parks Maayan Harod, Caesarea, Yarkon Tel Afek, the Yarkon Sources, Apollonia, Beit Guvrin, Herodium, Castel, Ein Gedi Antiquities, Masada (including Vision), HaBesor Park. Nature reserves that will open: Banias, Snir River, Ayun Nahal, Yehudia, Ein Afek, Hula, Nahal Taninim, Cliff Eyes, Ein Gedi and the Tsin Cliff.

According to the Ministry of Health's instructions for leaving the corona outside the home, visitor quota will be set at a given time for each site and the duration of the visit will be limited according to its characteristics, to allow as many travelers as possible to enter the site every day, subject to restrictions.

The Authority notes that emphasis is placed on wearing masks in the required places, maintaining personal hygiene and hand washing frequently while placing hand sanitizing stances, maintaining required distance and preventing crowds, increasing the frequency of cleaning of rooms by the staff of the site, taking color identification bracelets for visitors and measuring heat at the entrance. .

In addition, the service centers on the sites will also be opened under the "purple character": in each store, disinfectant wipes and a hangover with alcohol gel will be available to the public. Each cashier will wear gloves and a mask on his face and stand behind a protective partition to be placed near the cash register. A "wait here" floor sticker will guide applicants where to stand. Payment will only be made on credit cards.

According to Shaul Goldstein, Director General of the Nature and Parks Authority, "The plan comes from knowing that the Israeli public is eager to go out into the wild after weeks of closure. Together, out of a mutual and caring guarantee, we will come to healthy sites, measure heat, keep our distance and wash hands. We hope that the trend of spreading the infection will continue and the public will be able to continue to expand its movements. "
