Würmtaler show discipline

The Planegger police inspection continues to be satisfied with the behavior of the Würmtaler in the current Corona exceptional situation. "With a few exceptions, there are still no problems," says Thomas Sorgalla, Inspection Manager at Würm, when asked about Mercury.

Würmtal– Officials will continue to ensure compliance with exit restrictions and the requirement to wear a mask in shops and local public transport while these rules still apply. "We are generally very present, especially at the S-Bahn stations, and now have an eye on wearing the mask," says Sorgalla. Last Wednesday, for example, the officials reported six people who were caught on the platform of the Planegger S-Bahn station without the required mouth and nose protection.

“Basically, however, we always look at the respective circumstances. Of course, we do not show who is going to lift his mask for a short kiss on the S-Bahn for a moment. Even going into a shop and realizing at the moment that you have forgotten the protection and then putting it on immediately has probably happened to all of us ”and is not a problem, says Sorgalla. However, there is a risk of being fined if the persons controlled are unreasonable or obviously do not comply with the requirements.

Serious violations not known

In shops, the Planegger police officers only take action on notification, as there are too many shops in the Würmtal to constantly check everyone. “We already had a few messages like this, but they always turned out to be wrong. Shop employees, for example, were reported, but they shouldn't have been wearing a mask at the moment because they were outside, ”explains Sorgalla. The inspection has so far known of no real violations from or in shops in the Würmtal. If such a violation should occur, the Würmtal officials would consult the district office before closing the deal.

Most of the wormers also kept to the exit restrictions. "We control about every group of three, in which one is too much in principle if you don't live in the same household," says Sorgalla. Few don't abide by the restrictions. The typical example are groups of three or four citizens who sit together on one or more park benches and drink beer late at night.
