Both ballots were secret, for this purpose four voting booths had been set up in the Loisachhalle. Eibl and Heinloth had challenged Heilinglechner as reported in the mayoral election in March, the Green Councilor missed the runoff election by 36 votes, Eibl lost to the incumbent in the runoff election.

In the future, the Greens, the strongest faction in the city council with six mandate holders, will provide the environmental advisors: Hans Schmidt solves Dr. Manfred Fleischer (list WOR). Helmut Forster's wish was also fulfilled: the ex-mayor, who turned his back with his political foster son Heilinglechner before the local elections of the citizens' association due to "irreconcilable differences" and who launched the WOR list with Fleischer and Richard Kugler, remains business secretary. Lechner is the freedom representative for information - the FDP Council forms a parliamentary group with the four representatives of the SPD.

Both the CSU parliamentary group and the Greens start their term of office from 2020 to 2026 with new speakers: Christian Socialist Group leader Peter Plößl, until then it was Günther Eibl; Hans Schmidt from.
