In an adventure show by Sat1, several candidates are fighting for up to 100,000 euros - in Argentina. Paula Krämer from Gudensberg (Hessen) is one of them.
Paula is 23, a student and comes from Gudensberg. But she is more than the nice girl next door. Paula is an influencer, i.e. a young woman who lets people share her life on the Internet and thus makes money. She shares her life with 422,000 followers who have subscribed to her profile.

Last autumn, the Gudensbergerin sent a message to her followers, explaining that due to a project she would not be active on the Instagram platform for several weeks. However, she made some contributions in advance to bridge the time. During this time, her sister took care of the account of the 23-year-old. The reason is the Sat.1 broadcast "The Mole", which is broadcast on Wednesdays at 8:15 p.m. The format changed the life of the influencer.
"When we got on the plane to Argentina, we didn't know who was going to be at the show or what exactly was waiting for us," says the 23-year-old. Under the moderation of the musicians from “The BossHoss”, they will be buried alive before they get to know their fellow players. They can only free themselves by solving some tricky puzzles. Only as a team can they fill the money pot and ultimately win up to 100,000 euros.

What sounds like a survival show gets exciting when the mole comes into play. Because one of the candidates is playing against the group. At the end of each broadcast, players must answer 20 questions about the mole. Whoever knows the least, is out - until two candidates and the mole remain in the final.

Paula Krämer was away from home for six weeks, without a cell phone and her family. “It was nothing new for me, I was in New Zealand for one year when I was 14, when I learned to be on my own. Nevertheless, I missed my family very much, ”says Krämer.

What was originally a means to an end became the Gudensberger's passion. In 2015 she started bodybuilding and took part in several competitions. She took first place in the bikini junior class and prevailed against 18 opponents. Since then she has worked for several fitness companies and traveled to England with the sports clothing company "Gymshark".

"I've had Instagram for a long time, but the starting signal for my success came in 2014," says Krämer. She often uses scenes from Kassel for her pictures, since she lived there until recently. "I am often recognized, but that is part of it and so far I have never had any unpleasant encounters." However, Instagram is not her only life purpose. Krämer studies nursing management and likes to go for a walk with Emma.

“I show a lot of my life, as an influencer you have to be ready for it, authenticity is important to be successful on the platform,” says Krämer. She came across the casting for the show through her management, it was important to her that the show did not belong to the "Trash TV" category, which deals with shallow entertainment.

Kramer was allowed to watch the first episode the day before the first broadcast. "I'm excited and you don't know what the outside reaction will look like on TV," says Krämer. How she does and whether the Gudensbergerin is the mole remains a secret until the finale.
