The Central Region branch of the General Company for Electricity and Communications (Syrian Networks) completed during the first quarter of this year works worth 140 million pounds out of the planned amount of 150 million pounds and with an implementation rate of 93 percent.
Engineer Haider Al-Naqri, the branch manager, stated in a statement to the SANA Economic Bulletin that the most important work carried out includes feeding investor divisions in the city of Hasia with electric power at a cost of 336 million pounds and the implementation rate of 34 percent and a project to maintain tension lines and transfer centers in the eastern and Khenifis mines for the benefit of the General Company for Mines and Phosphate with a value of 125 million pounds The implementation rate reached 80 percent, indicating the implementation of a number of lighting projects, such as the lighting maintenance project in the General Company for Homs Refinery, at a value of 20 million pounds, and the implementation rate of 70 percent, and maintenance and rehabilitation of lighting in the streets of antiquities and Gamal Abdel Nasser in Palmyra in favor of a magazine O city of Palmyra worth 24 million pounds and the implementation rate 63 percent.
Al-Naqri pointed out that the production center in the branch completed during the first quarter of this year works worth 15 million pounds out of the planned scheme of 25 million pounds.
