Venezuelan television broadcast today confessions of the American Luke Denman, who is being held in Venezuela, who was one of the masterminds of the attempted coup against the legitimate authority in the country.
Venezuelan media reported that the video footage broadcast by Venezuelan television today included Denman's admission of his work for the American private security company "Silverkop," which is headed by the former Special Forces element, Jordan Godro, in which he acknowledged that Godro had received orders regarding the implementation of the kidnapping from US President Donald Trump .
Denman also acknowledged that the group's sabotage plan was to seize and control Caracas airport and ensure his own security until Maduro was transferred to the United States, stressing that he had arrived in Venezuela by boat from Colombia.
President Nicholas Maduro announced yesterday that one of the American detainees who tried to enter the country to carry out a coup d'etat was working as a bodyguard for President Trump.
Maduro said in a tweet via his Twitter account: “One of the detainees in the first testimony confirmed that there are two American citizens within the conquest group and they are from the Presidential Personal Guard Team.”
Meanwhile, the Venezuelan President announced that his country intends to send a report on the attempted maritime invasion of Caracas to "The Hague", indicating that the relevant reports accompanying videos related to this attack will be prepared by the country’s Foreign Minister to be included in the lawsuit in the International Criminal Court.
Maduro announced yesterday that the authorities had arrested 13 terrorists, including two American citizens, who tried to infiltrate into the Venezuelan territories from Colombia by sea with the aim of destabilizing the country and trying to overthrow the government.
