Amazon wants to extend the closure of its warehouses in France until Wednesday May 13 inclusive, announced Thursday the American giant of online business in a statement.

The Nanterre court ordered Amazon on April 14 to restrict its activity to essential products and to carry out an assessment of the professional risks weighing on the group's employees due to the epidemic of new coronavirus.
Amazon also announced on Thursday that it intends to challenge the decision of the Versailles Court of Appeal of April 24, which confirmed the initial judgment, before the Court of Cassation. (Jean-Michel Bélot, edited by Jean-Stéphane Brosse)
