Argentina looks towards Europe. Always far from the economic prosperity of the countries on the other side of the Atlantic, this time there is an advantage for these lands: here the intense cold has not yet begun, and the experiences that the nations of the northern hemisphere lived are nourished by specialists. Running from behind, right now, is a positive thing. At least, if it is about fighting the coronavirus.

And in that sense, taking into account that soccer players are already starting to train in the big leagues and there will be soccer in Germany, Serbia and Turkey this month, the leaders are excited about the return of soccer in mid-September. “After winter, when the temperature changes, maybe we can go back, if there are no risks. Also playing behind closed doors is. Hopefully football will return the way it has to, ”said Claudio Tapia. The president of the AFA is already working on a protocol for the return of the schools to work. It is headed by its medical department and has a role model: The League of Spain.

The Iberian country declared a state of alarm on March 14 and only recently began the easing. "Going to the pharmacy is more risky than training," said Javier Tebas, president of La Liga. And he pondered "a comprehensive protocol to safeguard the health of all involved" in his goal of playing the championship again in June. What is the plan designed by the Spanish doctors that will be copied and adapted to the needs of Argentina? ?

Clarín agreed to the protocol that has 23 pages. It is divided into 4 phases. It is, at this point, the great hope for the ball to roll again.

Phase 1: Before or preparation for training

A series of requirements must be met before starting the concentration of players, including:

* Perform COVID-19 test to all players, coaching staff and club employees who go to the concentration.

* Carry out the necessary supply of disinfection materials.

* Disinfection of facilities and materials to use.

Phase 2: Solo training

The operational management of solitary training should follow the following guidelines:

* The people who will be in the sports cities will be the minimum possible (coaching staff, security, cleaning and care of the playing field).

* The player will receive the tasks the night before via telematics, which will allow for no interaction with members of the coaching staff.

* Players will travel alone to sports facilities in their private cars from their homes.

* The means of transport used by players and coaching staff must always be the same.

* Access to the home will be prohibited to people with whom the players and coaching staff are not living.

* A player attendance table must be organized and shared with the entire squad.

* During this phase, only a maximum of six players can be trained per field of play at a time. The maximum possible distance between them should be left.

* It is recommended that there are never more than twelve players at a time in the facilities.

* The arrival of the players must be staggered, leaving a minimum difference of 15 minutes between them.

* The player must arrive with training clothes on from his home and bring his own boots.

* At the end of training, the player must receive his training clothes from the next day in a biodegradable bag and closed. You should use the same bag to store the used training clothes (in your home). The next day, that bag must be deposited by the player in the bucket arranged for washing used clothes.

* A bucket with a lid must be arranged so that the players can deposit the used clothes from the previous day.

* The tasks to be carried out will be without the use of material.

* In the event that any type of material is used, it must be disinfected by the cleaning person.

* From the arrival at the sports city to their access to the field, players must wear masks and gloves.

* As far as possible, solo work will be done with gloves.

* Regarding the use of the gym, it should be limited to a maximum of 1 or 2 players at a time, depending on its size.

* There will be only one physical therapist in contact with the player.

Phase 3: Group training

In this third phase, the first squad will be divided into three groups of eight players each, so that each group trains consecutively in three shifts, avoiding coincidence in any of the training area facilities.

There will be special care in the use of the changing room (they will maintain social distance and cleanliness), breakfasts (individual and group receptions per shift), lunch and dinner (same as breakfast), return to the rooms (meetings will not be allowed, in will not be shared) and physical therapy treatments (one for each group).

The necessary staff for the activities should not exceed 20 people (4 members of the technical staff, 3 physical therapists, 1 prop, 1 laundry, 1 warehouse, 3 or 4 cleaning teachers, 1 cook, 1 person in charge of cleaning the kitchen, 1 doctor and 1 or 2 maintenance people).

Phase 4: Collective training

It will consist of an effective and total return of the entire group. The strictest hygiene and disinfection measures must be maintained.

The actions present in the previous phases will be applied, reducing access to outsiders to the maximum possible, using masks and gloves and disposing of alcoholic gels, plus the need to wash their hands regularly.
