Nandlstadt has a new management trio: Rainer Klier and Michael Schranner are the deputies of Mayor Gerhard Betz. Another caused a surprise.

Nandlstadt– The newly elected market council of Nandlstadt met in the former gymnasium on Thursday evening for the inaugural meeting. But one of the elected representatives was missing: Jakob Hartl. The former mayor, who has run the town for 30 years, "has not taken office," said the new mayor, Gerhard Betz, right at the beginning of the meeting. The visitors, all of whom came with face masks, learned nothing about the reasons. Hartl had applied for list number 10 for a municipal council mandate - and got the third of the four BLN seats with 950 votes. However, the BLN chairman did not accept his mandate, and Sebastian Kühner moved into the committee.

As a result of the personnel changes, Erhard Schönegge, as the longest-serving market councilor, was finally responsible for swearing in the new mayor. "I am surprised that I can do this," he said with a view to Hartl's withdrawal. After the official act, he paid Betz his "respect that you will take office in this difficult time" and pledged his support over the next six years.

Eleven new market councils sworn in

Ultimately, it was up to Gerhard Betz to swear in the eleven new market councilors - each individually in the middle of the committee.

In addition to Sebastian Kühner (BLN), these were Michael Buchberger (UWN), Martin Forster (CSU), Reinhard Krojer (UWN), Alexander Mörwald (UWN), Patrick Nocker (UWN), Regina Schillinger (UWN), Andreas Selmayer (CSU), Bernd Stöckeler (GOL), Sibylle Thiermann-Mayrhofer (CSU) and Robert Urbaneck (UWN).

Two deputies for the mayor

The newly elected body immediately decided that there should continue to be two deputies to the mayor. Franz Mayer (CSU) proposed his party colleague Rainer Klier for the office of 2nd mayor. Klier, who has been a cultural consultant for the past six years and has campaigned for ISEK, promised to work "with passion and commitment" for his home community. He was the only candidate to collect 20 out of 21 votes.

It was exciting when the 3rd mayor was elected: The UWN sent Maria Rauscher into the race, the citizen list Michael Schranner. After a short presentation, in which Rauscher promoted a woman in the management trio and Schranner relied on his flexibility, the market councilors again went to the secret election. And the result was very close: it was 11:10 - in favor of Michael Schranner. He is now Nandlstadt's 3rd mayor.

Farewell for the "old" market councilors

Despite the restart, Betz did not forget the outgoing market councilors to whom he expressed his "sincere and heartfelt thanks". "Unfortunately, the current situation and the development with regard to COVID-19 have not made it possible to adopt the company in a manner that is befitting its status. However, we will make up for this in any case. ”With a view to the new committee, he said:“ Let us treat each other respectfully at any time. It can and must be discussed. But let's not lose sight of a healthy mix of humanity and objectivity. Because then I am firmly convinced that we will work well together over the next six years and do a lot of important and right things for Nandlstadt. ”

An office for Jakob Hartl

By the way: Jakob Hartl got an office anyway, even though he is not on the market council: he was appointed as the partnership officer.
