It was only on Tuesday that the German Alpine Association (DAV) declared that hiking is now possible again, provided that some important rules are observed. In addition to the mandatory distance, the DAV also includes a reduced willingness to take risks.

This is also to prevent overloading the mountain rescue and the critical infrastructure. Up until this Tuesday, the association had still appealed to the athletes to refrain from mountain tours .
