In Graefelfing 50 people have contracted the new virus, in Planegg 84 and in Neuried 22. So far there have been 1162 recovered people and 23 deaths (as of May 5th, 12 noon). No new Corona case has been reported in the Starnberg district since Friday, May 1st. A total of 525 SARS CoV-2 cases have been reported, of which 122 in Gauting and 42 in Krailling (as of May 5, 4 p.m.). 466 people are no longer in quarantine and are therefore cured. Thirty-three patients are treated as inpatients in hospitals, and seven require ventilation. Nine people with Covid-19 have died in the district so far. According to the district office, two of them were infected, but the cause of death was another.

May 3:  Since Friday, May 1, the number of people infected with corona in the Munich district has increased by another 18 to 1306 confirmed cases. 156 cases were reported from the three worm valley communities. No new Corona case was reported in the district of Starnberg at the weekend. A total of 525 SARS CoV-2 cases have been reported in the district of Starnberg, including 122 in Gauting and 42 in Krailling.

May 1:  The situation due to the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus changes daily, also in the Munich district. From Wednesday to Friday there was an increase of 16 people who tested positive. There were seven more on Thursday and nine on Friday. The number of infected people in the district of Starnberg rose by two people on Wednesday. A total of 523 SARS CoV-2 cases have been reported to the District Office, of which 121 in Gauting and 42 in Krailling (as of April 29, 4 p.m.). 457 people are no longer in quarantine. April 28:  The number of corona infected people has increased by a further 21 to 1254 confirmed cases in the Munich district since April 27. 153 cases were reported from the three worm valley communities. In Graefelfing, 50 people have contracted the new virus, in Planegg 81 and in Neuried 22. So far there have been 1082 recovered people and 23 deaths (as of April 28, 12 noon). After the Starnberg district office had reported no further people with Covid-19 for two days in a row, the number of infected people in the district of Starnberg increased by one person on Tuesday. A total of 521 SARS CoV-2 cases have been reported to the District Office, 120 in Gauting and 42 in Krailling (as of April 28, 4 p.m.).

April 27:  The number of people infected with corona has increased by a further 4 to 1233 confirmed cases in the Munich district since April 26. 152 cases were reported from the three worm valley communities. In Graefelfing, 49 people have contracted the new virus, 81 in Planegg and 22 in Neuried 22. So far there have been 1061 recovered people and 23 deaths (as of April 27, 12 noon). After the Starnberg district office on Sunday had reported no new corona case for the first time in at least three weeks, there are no new infections in the Starnberg district on Monday, according to the official figures. April 26:  Since April 24, the number of corona infected people in the Munich district has increased by a further 12 to 1,229 confirmed cases. 152 cases were reported from the three worm valley communities. April 24: The number of people infected with corona has risen since April 23 in the Munich district by a further 8 to 1217 confirmed cases. 151 cases were reported from the three worm valley communities. In the district of Starnberg, 517 people were infected with the coronavirus by 3:30 p.m. on Friday, 506 of them in the district - the others are positive, who do not live in the district, but were registered as a corona case in the district for various reasons. In total, this is 7 cases more than on Thursday. In Gauting, 120 people fell ill with Covid-19, in Krailling 41. There were nine deaths. 434 people are no longer in quarantine and are considered to have recovered. A slight deviation is possible. 49 patients are treated in hospital. April 23 : The number of people infected with corona has increased by a further 7 to 1209 confirmed cases in the Munich district since April 22. 149 cases were reported from the three worm valley communities. In Graefelfing, 46 people have contracted the new virus, in Planegg 77 and in Neuried 22. So far there have been 925 recovered people and 23 deaths (as of April 20 at 12 noon). Up to 4 p.m. in the Starnberg district, 502 people were infected with the coronavirus, 492 of them in the district - the others who tested positive were not resident in the district, but were registered as a corona case in the district for various reasons. April 17 : The number of people infected with corona in the Munich district increased by a further 15 cases to 1137 confirmed cases. 140 cases were reported from the three worm valley communities. In Graefelfing, 46 people have contracted the new virus, in Planegg 71 and in Neuried 23. So far there have been 840 recovered people and 22 deaths (as of April 17 at 12 noon). In the district of Starnberg, 495 people were infected with the coronavirus by 4 p.m. on Friday, 486 of them in the district - the others are positive, who do not live in the district, but were registered as a corona case in the district for various reasons. That is six more cases than the previous day. 118 people are infected with corona in Gauting and 39 in Krailling. There were eight deaths.  

April 16 : The number of people infected with corona in the Munich district increased by a further 16 cases to 1122 confirmed cases. 137 cases were reported from the three worm valley communities. In Graefelfing, 46 people have contracted the new virus, 69 in Planegg and 22 in Neuried. So far there have been 793 people recovered and 22 deaths (as of April 16 at 12 noon). In the district of Starnberg, 489 people were infected with the coronavirus by Thursday, 5 p.m., 480 of them in the district - the others are positive, who do not live in the district, but were registered as a corona case in the district for various reasons. 118 people are infected with corona in Gauting and 38 in Krailling. April 15 : The number of people infected with corona in the Munich district increased by a further 25 cases to 1106 confirmed cases. 131 cases were reported from the three worm valley communities. April 13 : The number of people infected with corona in the Munich district increased by a further 47 cases to 1076 confirmed cases. 126 cases were reported from the three worm valley communities. In Graefelfing, 45 people have contracted the new virus, 60 in Planegg and 21 in Neuried. So far there have been 598 people recovering and eleven deaths (as of April 13 at 12 noon). April 8 : The number of corona infected in the Munich district increased by a further 32 cases to 963 confirmed cases. 105 cases were reported from the three worm valley communities. 41 people have contracted the new virus in Graefelfing, 45 in Planegg and 19 in Neuried 19. So far there have been 479 people recovered and ten deaths (as of April 8, 1:30 p.m.). In the Starnberg district, 431 people were infected with the coronavirus until 4 p.m. on Wednesday, 423 of them in the district - the others are positive, who do not live in the district, but were registered as a corona case in the district for various reasons. In Gauting 100 people are infected with corona, in Krailling 35. There were three deaths.  

April 7 : The number of people infected with corona in the Munich district increased by a further 27 cases to 931 confirmed cases. 97 cases were reported from the three worm valley communities. In Graefelfing, 36 people have contracted the new virus, 42 in Planegg and 19 in Neuried 19. So far, there have been 439 people recovered and ten deaths (as of April 7 at 12 noon). In the district of Starnberg, 422 people were infected with the coronavirus by 4 p.m. on Tuesday, 414 of them in the district - the others are positive, who do not live in the district, but were registered as a corona case in the district for various reasons. 103 people were infected with corona in Gauting and 37 in Krailling. April 6 : The number of corona infected people in the Munich district increased by a further 11 cases to 904 confirmed cases. 90 cases were reported from the three worm valley communities. In Graefelfing 35 people have contracted the new virus, 36 in Planegg and 19 in Neuried 19. So far there have been 378 recovered people and ten deaths (as of April 6, 12 noon). In the Starnberg district, 417 people were infected with the coronavirus by 2 p.m. on Monday. There were three deaths. There are 98 infected people in Gauting and 34 in Krailling.

April 3 : The number of people infected with corona in the Munich district increased by a further 48 cases to 783 confirmed cases. 67 cases were reported from the three worm valley communities. In Graefelfing, 31 people were infected with the new virus, in Planegg 19 and in Neuried 17. So far, there have been nine deaths (as of April 3, 12 noon). In the district of Starnberg, 385 people were infected with the coronavirus by 4 p.m. on Friday. There were two deaths.   

April 2 : The number of corona infected in the Munich district increased by a further 60 cases to 735 confirmed cases. 62 cases were reported from the three worm valley communities. In Graefelfing, 29 people have contracted the new virus, in Planegg 17 and in Neuried 16. So far there have been eight deaths (as of April 2 at 12 noon). In the district of Starnberg, 371 people were infected with the coronavirus by 5 p.m. on Wednesday. There was one death.     

April 1 : The number of people infected with corona in the Munich district increased by a further 49 cases to 675 confirmed cases. 60 cases were reported from the three worm valley communities. In Graefelfing, 29 people have contracted the new virus, 16 in Planegg and 15 in Neuried. So far there have been eight deaths (as of April 1, 11:30 am). In the Starnberg district, 347 people were infected with the coronavirus by 5 p.m. on Wednesday. There was one death.    

March 31: The number of people infected with corona in the Munich district increased by a further 52 confirmed cases. This means that 626 people have been infected. In the three worm valley communities, 54 people are affected. There are 27 confirmed cases in Graefelfing, 15 in Planegg and 12 in Neuried.

March 30:  The Munich district office registered 575 cases with the new corona virus in the Munich district up to 4 p.m. on Monday. An increase of 15 cases compared to Sunday. A total of 51 cases were registered in the Würmtal communities, in Graefelfing 27, in Planegg 14 and in Neuried 10. So far there have been six deaths due to the corona virus in the Munich district.

March 29: The number of people infected with Corona increased significantly over the weekend in the Munich district. The district office recorded 561 cases as of March 29 at 12 noon), 99 more than on Friday. In the Würmtalgemeinde, 48 people were infected, 25 in Graefelfing, 14 in Planegg and 9 in Neuried. Up to Sunday (at 5 p.m.), there were 270 people in the district of Starnberg infected with the new virus.

March 27: Until Friday, 12.15 p.m., the district office in Munich recorded 462 cases of infection with the novel corona virus in the district. So far there have been two deaths. In the three Würmtal communities, 38 people were infected, 19 in Graefelfing, 12 in Planegg and 7 in Neuried.   

Asklepios Clinic quadruples the number of intensive care beds

The clinics in the district of Starnberg continue to prepare for an increasing number of intensive care patients due to the coronavirus. The hospitals are working to increase capacity. The Asklepios Lung Clinic in Gauting as a pandemic center for the district currently has 20 Covid-19 cases in treatment. Five of the patients are in the intensive care unit, as spokeswoman Beatriz Parente Matschke says. The Asklepios Clinic is working flat out to increase intensive care capacities. "At the moment, the plan is to quadruple these by the end of April and create almost 40 beds in intensive care medicine," she says. Of course, this could only be done gradually, also because of longer delivery times. "We have already doubled our capacities in the intensive care area," says Matschke.

March 26:   The number of people infected with corona in the Munich district increased again significantly. 56 new cases were registered, bringing the number of people affected to 429. 34 people were infected in the three Würmtal communities: 16 in Graefelfing, 11 in Planegg and 7 in Neuried.

The Krailling community has announced the following event cancellations:

The Abitur in Bavaria is postponed for a few weeks because of Corona. The exams do not start on April 30th, but only on May 20th.

 Closures and cancellations: 

• Krailling: The community library is closed until Sunday April 19th. The first day of opening is expected to be April 21. Media are automatically renewed until Saturday, April 25th. There are no default fees during this time. The return box is kept open if possible. City halls and district offices closed

 In order to curb the infection with the new type of corona virus, both the town halls in the Würmtal and the district offices in Munich and Starnberg were closed as a precaution. The communities of Planegg, Graefelfing, Krailling, Neuried and Gauting ask that citizens make an appointment in advance in urgent cases that require an appearance on site. To do this, you can contact the relevant department in your community by telephone or email. All non-urgent city hall visits should be postponed out of general consideration. The closure for visitors also affects all branches of the municipalities. For the municipalities of Neuried and Graefelfing, the closure is initially until March 27th. The town hall in Planegg is expected to close by March 30th.

The Munich District Office asks citizens to only personally speak to the district authority and its branch offices in absolutely necessary matters. Citizens are asked to clarify their concerns by phone or email, if possible. Personal meetings are only possible after an individual appointment. The Starnberg district office is also closed and only issues appointments in urgent cases.

• The general meeting of the Gräfelfing Youth Music School on Wednesday, March 18

• The reading by Hans-Herbert Holzamer, organized by the occasional writers from Graefingen, on Thursday, March 19

• The annual general meeting of Naturfreunde Würmtal on Friday, March 20

• The Gautinger Repair Café on Saturday, March 21

• The anniversary celebration of the Diakonieverein Gräfelfing, Planegg, Krailling and surroundings on Sunday, March 22nd

• The monthly regulars' table of the VdK Planegg-Graefelfing social association on Wednesday, March 25th

• The district education day with a lecture by Helga Reinbold, education officer of the Catholic German Women's Association, in the Gautinger parish of St. Benedict on Wednesday, March 25th

• The vernissage of the photo exhibition “THE ONE IS CONSCIOUS” by Andrea Amina Stölzl at Atelierhaus Krailling on Sunday, March 29th

• The Maltese Funeral Discussion Group on Friday, April 3, in the Malteser Hospice Service in Graefelfing

• All services of the Archdiocese of Munich and Freising (until April 3)
