These would be 5 failures of Operation Gideon 1:45
(CNN Spanish) - The president of Colombia, Iván Duque, affirmed this Friday that he does not support invasions of Venezuela.
"I do not sponsor or invasions or any kind of tricks. I work head-on, because I am a defender of democracy, ”he said in an interview with a local media outlet, answering a question about accusations by the Venezuelan government of having been behind an operation that would have the objective of overthrowing the questioned President Nicolás Maduro.
According to a statement from the Colombian presidency, Duque declared that it is not the first time that the Venezuelan government has made this type of accusations against him.
"Since I became president, he has been repeating that. I want to say to you very clearly: I do things head on. I do them head-on, because one in life defends the principles vertically; He defends them with enthusiasm, he defends them without trial, he defends them without shame ”, he pointed out.
