Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov called for the lifting of all unilateral sanctions against international law imposed on some countries, stressing that they represent a global threat that must be faced.
The Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement today published by Sputnik website that Minister Lavrov expressed confidence during the exchange of congratulatory messages with his Cuban counterpart Bruno Rodriguez Barilla on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the resumption of diplomatic relations between Cuba and Russia that the Russian-Cuban strategic partnership will continue to develop intensively for the benefit of the peoples of the two countries And that the two ministers announced their readiness to develop this partnership.
For his part, Rodriguez expressed his gratitude for the continuous and continuous support from Russia regarding lifting the American blockade imposed on Cuba, stressing his country's intention to continue to deepen fruitful cooperation with Russia on the basis of traditions of friendship, solidarity and mutual respect, according to the statement.
