A taxi robbery took place in Saigon. At 1 a.m. on Saturday (9th), the police received a report from a taxi driver. He claimed that after taking a male passenger near Dongba, he was robbed by the other party. The entire taxi drove away and fled without a trace in the direction of Beitanyong. The driver involved reported that the pursuit was unsuccessful, and three mobile phones were stolen along with the taxi. He had no choice but to walk on foot for more than an hour. When he reached Yichangting in Beitan, he borrowed a phone to call the police. After the ambulance arrived on the spot, he refused to be sent to the hospital. The police set up roadblocks in the vicinity to intercept the incident and classified the case as "robbery". The incident is being investigated.
