United States: more than 20 million jobs destroyed in April

America has not experienced such high unemployment since the depression of the 1930s. According to the Labor Department, this rate jumped in April to 14.7%, three times more than the rate of 4.4%. recorded the previous month. The American economy has certainly never experienced such a rapid deterioration in employment. The Bureau of Labor Statistics reports in April the loss of 20.5 million jobs. While in February the country was still in a situation of almost full employment with unemployment of 3.5% and real problems of labor shortage.
