Deir Al-Zour: Asphalt shirt laying in Halab Street in Al-Joura neighborhood

Workshops of the General Company for Roads and Bridges branch in the eastern region started to build an asphalt shirt in Halab Street in Al-Joura neighborhood in Deir Al-Zour.

The head of Deir Al-Zour City Council, Engineer Raed Mandeel, stated that after the completion of the rehabilitation of the infrastructure related to sewage, water, electricity and communications in Halab Street in the city, a asphalt shirt is being extended, pointing to the importance of the street that connects the city of Deir Al-Zour with its western countryside and witnessing intense movement.

The engineer of the General Company for Roads and Bridges in the eastern region, Eng. Aziz Azi, said that the project is implemented in two phases and includes paving the street back and forth and treating the worn out areas of the road body and then extending the asphalt shirt in the street from the governorate roundabout to the west until the unknown soldier roundabout in the east.
