2020-05-09T08:06:04.151Z

The weather in Hong Kong has been hot and sunny recently, and the temperature in all districts has risen above 30 degrees this afternoon (9th). However, tomorrow (10th) Mother's Day is about to bid farewell to the sun and usher in a thunderstorm. The Observatory stated that a trough of low pressure would cross Guangdong tomorrow and hover along the coast for the next day or two, with thunderstorms in the area. As the high-altitude anticyclone strengthened again in the middle and later of next week, the weather in South China improved. The Observatory expects sunshine for a short time on Mother's Day tomorrow, a few showers later, and thunderstorms in some areas. The weather continues to be hot, with urban temperatures ranging from 28 to 32 degrees Celsius. When people go out to celebrate, remember to bring an umbrella.
