Corona in the US: Obama finds Trump's reactions "inappropriate"

Obama criticized that Trump's inadequate responses to the challenges of the corona pandemic reflected a mindset of " what's in it for me"  and "to hell with everyone else" . Selfishness and hostility have become "a stronger impetus in American life".

Donald Trump said on May 8 at a meeting with Republican Congressmen that the virus would "go away" without vaccination, according to reports by the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung . A clip of the meeting is circulating on Twitter . It hears a member of parliament asking how important the US president considers vaccines to be in the corona crisis.

He went on to say, “You know, there were viruses and flu that you couldn't find a vaccine against, and they still went away. They die. Just like everything else. ”Although he finally admitted,“ The virus will probably go away on its own - but if we had a vaccine, it would be helpful. ”

Obama upset over judgment on Trump's ex-advisor in Russia affair

There was also a surprising turnaround last Thursday in the case of Michael Flynn , the former United States National Security Advisor. The U.S. judicature withdrew charges against Trump's ex-employee in the Russia affair *

The Washington Department's rationale was that the FBI's actions against Flynn were unlawful . Trump called Flynn "innocent" and threatened those responsible for the investigation with a "high price". Trump also said about the decision that Flynn had been targeted by the former Obama administration to harm him - Trump. This is "a shame". Those responsible are "corrupt" and "human scum". Flynn is a "great gentleman".

Trump's criticism of Obama in Russia affair: "rule of law in danger"

Obama also criticized the Flynn decision in the audio recording with clear words: He was worried that "our basic understanding of the rule of law was at risk", said Obama to his former employees.

Flynn pleaded guilty in December 2017 for having lied to the FBI about his contacts with former Russian ambassador Sergei Kislyak . The ex-general later said he would withdraw the confession of guilt.

The Washington Post categorized the Obama audio recording as follows: "With his comments on Flynn, Obama joins critics from the ranks of the US Democrats and law enforcement officers after observers see Attorney General William Barr's  case intervene, which are allies of the US President . "

US election during corona pandemic: Obama campaigns for biden

In the confidential conversation, Obama now called on his ex-employees to support the designated democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden * in the race against Trump. The US presidential election will take place in early November. "I hope you all feel the same urgency as I do," Obama said.
