Vnukovo International Airport in the Russian capital, Moscow, will depart tonight for a Syrian Air plane carrying 250 Syrian citizens and students who have been stranded in the conditions of repatriation.
The Syrian embassy in Moscow earlier on its website called on citizens who wish to return to register their names in special lists prepared by the embassy with the aim of referring them to the relevant authorities in order to take the necessary measures in light of them in preparation for their return to the homeland in coordination with the Ministry of Health and the aviation institution and other relevant institutions in implementation of the decisions of the relevant government team Corona response measures to assist Syrian citizens who are facing difficulties in returning as a result of the spread of the epidemic.
Two Syrian Air planes arrived at Damascus International Airport last night, one carrying 143 Syrians stranded abroad coming from Muscat Airport in the Sultanate of Oman and the other carrying 250 Syrians arriving from Khartoum airport in Sudan, in implementation of the decisions of the government team dealing with the Corona virus.
The Syrian Air had started since the fourth of this month to operate flights to evacuate the Syrian nationals who wish to return from a number of countries in the world to Syria, according to the lists that were registered through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and expatriates at embassies and diplomatic missions.
