The Shatin New Town Plaza, one of the target shopping malls, is located in the atrium where the two "Linnon Pillars" with Manchurian posters have been surrounded by the mall and posted a notice that the title deed prohibits the playing of musical instruments, sending leaflets and posting posters. Approved activities will require the relevant person to leave. As of 3 pm, people from Sha Tin New City Plaza, Tsuen Wan Plaza, Yuen Long Shape Point and Tuen Mun V City gathered to call for slogans. The riot police had entered some shopping malls to disperse.
