A Syrian Air plane carrying 245 Syrians stranded abroad arrived from Vnukovo International Airport in the Russian capital, Moscow, in implementation of the decisions of the government team concerned with tackling the Corona virus.

The Director of Damascus Health, Dr. Hazar Raef, stated in a statement to SANA that the passengers of the plane were transported by private buses, where they will be distributed to the first Hajar centers in the safety house for orphans in Kafr Sousa and the second in the university city of Unit 20 in Damascus, indicating that they will be kept 14 days in the stone to ensure that no Infection with the Coronavirus, during which time they are provided with all the necessary medical services to investigate any infection and detect it early, and to provide appropriate treatment in the relevant centers.

Dr. Raef pointed out that the goal of the stone is to ensure the safety of individuals and that they do not come into contact with their families and society except after ensuring their safety, noting that immediately after the plane's passengers arrived at the airport, the medical team measured their temperatures and recorded their data.

Dr. Raef indicated that the quarantine centers are equipped to provide all the proper accommodation services for the passengers in addition to a specialized medical team supervising health care for them by providing medical and investigative services around the clock, noting that the team will take the nasal, pharyngeal and oral swabs from the residents of the stone centers and send them to the laboratories that The Ministry has allocated it to Corona's analysis to determine whether they are infected or not.

Two planes arrived at Damascus International Airport last Saturday carrying 393 passengers stranded abroad from Sudan and the Sultanate of Oman.

The Syrian Air had started since the fourth of this month to operate flights to evacuate the Syrian nationals who want to return from a number of countries in the world to Syria according to the lists that were registered through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates at embassies and diplomatic missions, in implementation of the decisions of the government team concerned with tackling the Corona virus.
