The Director-General of the World Health Organization, Tiedros Adhanum Gebrysos, said today that slowly and gradually increasing the measures of general isolation is necessary, noting that the jump in the number of Coronavirus infections in South Korea and Germany has raised global concerns about a second wave of infection.
"The lifting of general isolation measures is complicated and difficult," Reuters quoted Gypriesus as saying in an online press briefing, adding that Germany, South Korea and China all have systems in place to respond to any new surge in injuries.
Europe continues to alleviate the isolation measures imposed on its population to limit the spread of the Coronavirus with new decisions that are supposed to be applied in about 15 countries, including Italy, which has been under quarantine for two months.
