All mosques in Iran will reopen on Tuesday as part of further easing of restrictions to stem the spread of the coronavirus, official IRIB news agency reported on Monday. The government's decision comes at a time when certain regions of the country are experiencing an increase in new daily cases of infection.

Prayers were resumed last Friday, after two weeks of interruption, in some 180 Iranian cities considered to be less exposed to the risk of spreading the coronavirus.
