It happens. After a year and a half of instability, and a never-ending skepticism about the success of the current process, Israeli citizens are getting up this morning without knowing if the child has a garden today, but with absolute certainty that in two days it will be over: there is a government.

Despite the short schedule, during every day yesterday there was no talk, no talk and any contact between the Likud and the right, the right-wing party that unless the parties find a way to cooperate, it will be the Israeli government's biggest absurdity.

Defense Minister Naftali Bennett's speech at the conference to the right

For a year and a half the right-wing parties went hand in hand. Contrary to all assessments and attempts, everyone - from Netanyahu to Litzman, failed to dismantle the package and persevere together in fire and water, including dragging the state into three election campaigns. It was this block that eventually overpowered Benny Gantz who realized that he had no government and would not, and gave up his central election promise not to sit under Netanyahu. So there is no more far-fetched scenario than breaking down the success now.

Even if Netanyahu is committed to the principle of equality vis-à-vis Gantz, there are demands from the right that there is no reason not to fulfill them. After giving up the Justice Department and continuing important legal reforms, Netanyahu could at the very least appoint a right-wing representative on the Judiciary Committee. It is in the Likud's interest just like theirs.

In exchange for appointments in important places, the right has to relinquish the demand to appoint two senior ministers and settle for the education portfolio and another junior case. It is hard to believe that Netanyahu is consciously giving up on the right in government unless, and such an assessment does turn around, he decides to retire from political life at the end of his term and then what is better than sweet revenge from his old rival Bennett and Shaked.

Ohana will bypass veterans

Not only to her right, but Likud also nails for the distribution of the bags that will start today. This is the time when everyone recruits the best of persuasion to signal to the boss, whether in threats or flattery, why he should receive the briefcase / upgrade or lack thereof. There is no room for skill or match in this game. Only political needs. Avi Dichter, who was an excellent Minister of Public Security, finds himself quarreling over a junior case, while Shiri Regev, who has made a career in wrestling with players, will laugh all the way there or for transportation.

If left to the right, most Likud ministers will be satisfied with the round of cases on the way, especially after it was decided that Minister Gilad Arden should leave for New York. The mine of July Edelstein is still unsolved. And so is the staffing of education and health portfolios. Ohana, it would seem that he would bypass veterans again in the round, and be appointed Minister of Public Security for the voice of his friends' booming silence. The judges and attorneys will not be able to touch this time, but perhaps the Reform of the Investigation Division and Blade 433 will come out this time.
