Tegernsee - Those who take a walk on the Point in Tegernsee these days have probably noticed: Several trees, different types and sizes, have been planted between sprouting bushes and young greenery. After the accidentally clearing of 75 trees and large shrubs on their own land and an area of the State Palace and Lake Administration in spring 2019, the Ducal House, a forestry company and a consultant were fined and afforested.

The Ducal House has now complied with the replanting required for early May. "All the plants specified by the district office were brought in last week with the involvement of nature conservation," reports Managing Director Christian Wagner when asked. An employee of the district office was present and personally determined all planting locations. "Our condition is therefore fulfilled for us," emphasizes Wagner.
A first care course is planned for the winter half-year 2021/2022, with another to follow in five years. According to the district office, there are 22 plants of consistently autochthonous quality from the Alps and the Alpine foothills. These include sand birch, oak, winter lime, summer lime, black alder, broken willow, red beech and bird cherry.
